Evolution Glazing designs, supplies and installs railings & guardrails for homes and businesses in Burnaby, BC. Frameless and semi-frameless glass railings and guardrails for decks, stairs and balconies.
Evolution Glazing designs and installs frameless and semi-frameless glass railings and guardrails for decks, stairs, balconies and interior mezzanines across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Every railing uses safety-certified tempered or laminated glass, engineer-approved hardware, and is precision-scanned so panels fit exactly. We handle design, fabrication and installation, and every system is backed by our installation warranty.
We handle office glass partitions and storefronts in Burnaby business parks and town centres, and railings, shower glass and window upgrades in homes around Burnaby Mountain, Capitol Hill and Deer Lake. Rain-screen condos in Burnaby often need foggy IG unit replacement and careful flashing work.
Railings & Guardrails is one of our most requested services in Burnaby. Every Burnaby project starts with a free consultation and on-site precision scan, followed by a 3D design and a written proposal. We use safety-certified tempered and laminated glass and back every installation with our warranty.
Uninterrupted glass held by a concealed channel or stainless spigots — the cleanest look for view decks.
Slim aluminum or stainless posts with glass infill — cost-effective and durable for larger runs.
Glass fixed to the fascia with polished standoffs, freeing the full deck surface.
Glass guards and handrails that open up staircases and double-height spaces.
Yes. We use tempered or laminated safety glass sized to meet BC Building Code guard requirements, and laminated glass stays in place even if a panel is broken. Heights and loads are confirmed during design for your specific deck or stair.
Guard and railing work on decks and balconies is often part of a building permit, and requirements vary by municipality (Vancouver follows its own Building By-law). We provide drawings and engineering where required and coordinate with your builder or strata.
Rain-spotting is the main issue. A mild soap and squeegee every few weeks keeps panels clear, and we can apply an optional hydrophobic coating so water sheets off.
